The Salhy hydration test has undergone an independent validation study with researchers at the University of Newcastle.
The study evaluated Salhy against an established hydration research protocol to assess its ability to track changes in hydration under controlled dehydration and rehydration conditions.
Findings demonstrated statistically significant agreement with changes in hydration status, using percentage body mass change* as the reference measure.
* Percentage body mass change is a well-established and widely used research method for estimating changes in body water under controlled exercise and heat conditions
